Congratulations Damara & Josh

Damara and Josh represent a true melting pot "American" couple. Between them they have Greek, English, Apache, Irish and Scottish heritage! FUN!!!

As part of their ceremony they gave their mother's roses to thank them. To celebrate Josh's Apache heritage his Dad read a Native American Blessing. Because Damara is a ballet dancer they chose the reading from Gifts from the Sea that begins with, "A good relationship is like a dance."

After the vows they shared wine from a single cup. That made Damara's Greek Ya-Ya (grandmother) happy - "It's just like an Orthodox wedding!" she said. Sweet.

I'm always so happy when I can help a couple create a ceremony that honors their heritage.
